Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full school-year role involves delivering specialized instruction to Pre-K and special education students, aligning academic and social skill development with their Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective instruction that meets the diverse needs of exceptional students.
• Tailor teaching approaches based on individual learning styles, cultural backgrounds, and temperaments.
• Serve as backup to the Director when necessary, supporting school leadership.
• Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold or be eligible for a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education, ESE.
• Bachelors degree in education, early childhood, special education, or a related field.
• Reading Endorsement and ESOL certification required; candidates must commit to obtaining these endorsements if not currently held.
• Completion of Department of Children & Family Child Care Training.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and internet research.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Commitment for the full school year (CSY)
