Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is tailored for an educator dedicated to making a positive impact on exceptional learners in a vibrant K-12 school environment in Miami, FL. This full school-year role involves delivering specialized instruction to Pre-K and special education students, aligning academic and social skill development with their Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective instruction that meets the diverse needs of exceptional students.
- Tailor teaching approaches based on individual learning styles, cultural backgrounds, and temperaments.
- Serve as backup to the Director when necessary, supporting school leadership.
- Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold or be eligible for a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education, ESE.
- Bachelors degree in education, early childhood, special education, or a related field.
- Reading Endorsement and ESOL certification required; candidates must commit to obtaining these endorsements if not currently held.
- Completion of Department of Children & Family Child Care Training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and internet research.

Work Schedule:
