Salary: $100k-$150k DOE
Requirements: J.D. 2+ years exp in Personal Injury / Products Liability Litigation, Good Standing & Licensed with Florida Bar
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and products liability, along with a passion for advocating on behalf of clients who have suffered personal injuries. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the legal process and the ability to navigate complex cases effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial consultation to resolution
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies
- Manage case files and maintain detailed case notes
- Prepare for and participate in trials, including witness preparation and evidence presentation
- Advocate for clients in court and during mediation sessions
- Keep clients informed about case progress and developments
- Collaborate with medical professionals to understand case specifics and strengthen claims
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Florida Bar
- 2 + years proven experience in personal injury law and litigation
- Strong understanding of products liability
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively and represent clients confidently
- Prior experience in case management and trial preparation
- Knowledge of medical malpractice laws and procedures is a plus
- Strong advocacy skills and a commitment to client representation
