We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.
Summary: Provide efficient, helpful and courteous service to all members and guests. Managing operations in the Golf Shop and outside services, including the sale of merchandise, green fees, rental of golf carts and practice balls. Operate computerized cash collection system. Maintain neatness and cleanliness of Pro Shop and surrounding areas. Successfully run our various Member events, Men's, Ladies, and annual and summer leagues.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should perform the following essential functions of the position:
* PGA Member or Associate preferred (but not required)*
Additional income possible with outings, leagues, private lessons, clinics and grip repair.
* YEAR ROUND POSITION
- Greets members/guests as they enter the Pro Shop
- Check in golfers, opening and closing procedures
- Selling of merchandise, range balls, snacks and beverages
- Maintains the pro shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly: straightening and stocking merchandise. Order merchandise and accountable for monthly golf shop inventory.
- Run outings, tournaments, Men's, Ladies, Twilight leagues. Schedule new outings.
- Responsible for printing daily golf reports.
- Manage golf staff and schedules for golf shop, cart barn, starter and rangers.
- Answer phone calls to take tee times or answer questions
- Manage and update rate tracker and future green fee rates.
- Communicate specials, promotions, and events with customers clearly and enthusiastically
- Assists with special projects as needed
- Available to work weekends, holidays and work year round.
- Computer skills are needed for this position which include Golf Genius, Microsoft word, excel, GPS for our cart fleet and be able learn EZ Links reservations POS. Willing to learn budgets and revenue forecasting.
