The Private City Club is seeking a highly skilled and artistic Cake Decorator to join our distinguished culinary team. This individual will play a pivotal role in the execution of high-end custom cakes and plated desserts, contributing to weddings, special events, member celebrations, and a la carte service. We are looking for a passionate professional with a strong background in advanced decorating techniques, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to bring creative visions to life through sugar and chocolate artistry.

Cake Decorator Key Responsibilities:

· Provide a portfolio of work that you’ve done independently.

· Must be a team player, artistically inclined, detail oriented, and a drive to learn more and improve your skills.

· Must be able to bake, assemble, ice, and decorate buttercream and fondant cakes cleanly.

· Must have experience modeling figurines, flowers, and objects/decorations with fondant, gumpaste, or modeling chocolate.

· Must be able to meet our high quality standards.

· Experience with baking and decorating iced cookies is a plus.

· Experience with tempered chocolate is a plus.

Cake Decorator Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in cake decorating or pastry arts within a luxury or high-volume environment
• Degree or certification in Pastry Arts is preferred
• Strong aesthetic sense, color theory, and artistic design skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to excellence in presentation and taste
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
