Superintendent
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget within the luxury restaurant space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in the restaurant industry, and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction process while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth project operations
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients and project teams
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices
- Experience inbuilding high end restaurants is highly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Nice to have: Experience in managing construction projects for country clubs, hotels, or resorts
