A Day in the Life of a Certified Medical Assistant
As a vital part of our medical team, you will work hand in hand with our MD while expanding your skills and training in stem cells, lasers, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, bio-identical hormone balancing, enhanced PRP, peptides, and chelation therapies. You will also prepare exam rooms for and assist practitioners with examinations, procedures, and treatments. You will maintain professionalism with all patients, vendors, and colleagues as well as comply with all relevant HIPAA laws.
We are looking for a compassionate, independent, and friendly candidate who can perform the following functions:
- Take vitals and medical history.
- Administer and monitor IV's.
- Draw blood.
- Manage phone calls and maintain correspondence between patient and doctor.
- Collaborate with MD to administer prescribed services.
- Prepare and maintain medical tools and equipment.
- Perform additional medical and administrative duties.
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments.
