Job Description
Job DescriptionA full-time paralegal opportunity is available for a skilled legal professional with experience in creditors rights and bankruptcy. This position supports three attorneys in Tampa (two in Financial Services and one in Bankruptcy) and three attorneys in Orlando (all in Bankruptcy). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities

Draft and edit motions, pleadings, notices, and legal correspondence

Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts

Manage discovery requests and responses, and summarize deposition transcripts

Prepare trial exhibits, charts, notebooks, and subpoenas

Conduct legal research using PACER, SJIS, LEXIS, Westlaw, and similar tools

Maintain calendars for court deadlines and appearances

Communicate with clients, experts, and attorneys

Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed

Provide general litigation support from case inception to resolution
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, paralegal degree, or certification (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience; experience in creditors rights and bankruptcy preferred

Strong knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Word; familiarity with e-discovery tools, Trial Director, and Relativity is a plus

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
-
Strong communication and drafting skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and remain professional under pressure

Willingness to work overtime when required
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
