K-12 School Psychologist Position Port Saint Lucie, FL
A full-time, contract opportunity for a licensed School Psychologist is available within a K-12 public school setting serving multiple campuses in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. This role supports students across PreK through 8th grade, with a caseload involving comprehensive psychological services. The position duration aligns with the current school calendar, from ASAP through June 2, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing for students across assigned schools.
- Participate in meetings with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement student support plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district policies.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote positive student outcomes and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Psychologist licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly within PreK-8 settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload involving testing, counseling, and meetings effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with public school systems and psychological service delivery in educational environments.
Location & Schedule:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- On-site position with no options for remote or hybrid work.
- Service coverage includes three campuses, likely Ft. Pierce Westwood, PreK, and Northport K8 schools.
