AutoCAD Drafter

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Pay Rate: $22/hr. - $25/hr. DOE
Location: Fort Myers, FL

Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join their team. This role is crucial in translating design concepts into precise technical drawings for the manufacturing process.

AutoCAD Drafter Job Description

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD based on architectural and design specifications.

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and shop personnel to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.

• Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

• Prepare documentation for manufacturing, including bills of materials, specifications, and installation instructions.

• Assist in the development of prototypes and models as needed.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation.

• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to team members.

• Identify and resolve drafting issues and discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other drafting tools.

• Strong understanding of drafting standards, techniques, and procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and design drawings.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Technical diploma or degree in drafting, design, or related field is preferred.
