Assistant Construction Project Superintendent

Job DescriptionQLM is currently seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support a long term commercial project in Fort Myers!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily jobsite operations for commercial construction projects
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site crews to ensure productivity and quality
- Maintain and enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- Track schedules and milestones, making adjustments to stay on time and within budget
- Review drawings, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accuracy in execution
- Conduct daily site meetings and communicate progress with the Project Manager
- Monitor material deliveries and installations
- Provide problem-solving and leadership to maintain efficiency on the jobsite
Qualifications
- 5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience on commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, methods, and scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with subcontractors, field staff, and clients
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
