Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse (Open Heart RN) for a permanent opportunity in Kissimmee, Florida.

The CVOR RN provides specialized nursing care for open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures in an acute care operating room setting. This role requires strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to function effectively in high-acuity surgical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures.

• Assist with preparation, intraoperative care, and post-procedure coordination.

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members.

• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, safety standards, and surgical protocols.

• Participate in on-call rotation to support surgical coverage needs.

• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety, precision, and teamwork.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)

• $31.84/hour (minimum)

• $46.26/hour (up to 17+ years of experience)

Additional Pay

• On-call pay: $4.00/hour

• Shift differentials:

– Nights: $4.50/hour

– Weekends: $1.50/hour

– National certification differential: $1.50/hour

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position you are applying for.

• Florida RN license or ability to obtain Florida licensure prior to start required.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an acute care environment required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.

• CNOR certification preferred.

• Ability to participate in evening shifts and on-call rotation.
