A dynamic opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiologic Technologist holding a valid Florida license to join a leading short-term acute care hospital in Clearwater, FL. This facility operates as a Level II Trauma center with a Level I Pediatric Trauma designation, offering advanced imaging services across four procedure rooms equipped with state-of-the-art Siemens and GE technology.
The role requires a minimum of one year of vascular experience, welcoming first-time IR techs who are ready to advance their skills in a high-volume environment with a daily caseload of 20-30. Candidates must be proficient in a broad range of IR procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, and various neurological and vascular studies, along with contrast and biopsy skills. Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Shift details include a 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with weekend and on-call duties required. On-call responsibilities involve 8-10 days per month with a 30-minute hospital response time and include one Saturday per month. Sleep rooms are provided for on-call staff.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid FL license in hand (pending licenses considered with no RTO restrictions)
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications
- Vascular IR experience mandatory
- Competency in advanced imaging procedures and PACS
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
