Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Therapist Position (Remote and In Person) (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, RMHCI)

Then you are at the right place! The Dwelling Place Counseling Center Inc. is a program that focuses on helping individuals who struggle with trauma, addiction, and mental health issues. Our deep understanding and person-centered approach to treating trauma and addiction allows clients to disrupt and eliminate problematic patterns of behavior in a safe and supportive environment.

Schedule: Great Work-Life Balance. Flexibility to design your own schedule! This is a contract position with flexible hours, depending on the needs of the contractor or the agency. Contractors set their own schedules to fit other personal or professional obligations.

Requirements: Licensed or licensed eligible (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT RMHCI), be willing to work in the office, (and remotely). You must have reliable transportation and possess the ability to work independently. Must be able to meet Florida Medicaid and Agency guidelines.

Familiarity with EHR systems is a plus, we currently use the Simple Practice EHR system.

Job Type: 1099 Contractor. Contractor rate based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $30.00 to $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
• For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a case-load minimum of 30 client visits per week.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, and other DPCC staff.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
• Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaning and important as your role!

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Candidates are required to have a master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field.
• Candidates should have clinical licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, etc)
• Required experience with completing treatment plans, discharges and clinical case notes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
