Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and empathetic Admissions Coordinator to be the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking treatment. This role plays a vital part in guiding prospective clients through the admissions process, ensuring a smooth transition into care, and helping them take the first step toward recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming client inquiries.
  • Conduct pre-admission screenings and initial assessments to determine eligibility.
  • Collaborate with clinical and medical teams to coordinate evaluations and admissions.
  • Accurately document all client interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other confidentiality standards.
  • Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage details to clients/families.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, families, and referral sources throughout the intake process.
  • Schedule admissions and coordinate transportation if needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, insurance verification, and admissions procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with compassion and professionalism.
