Position Overview:
The Vice President of IT Project Management will serve as the leader responsible for managing and evolving the enterprise PMO, providing strategic leadership over both application development initiatives and infrastructure/operations projects. The role requires a strong blend of leadership, delivery excellence, governance, portfolio oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
In-Office: Based full-time at CELSIUS® Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL
Travel Requirements: This position may require travel up to 25% as business needs dictate.
People Management Responsibilities: Role will evolve over time as business needs dictate. Will start as an individual contributor.

Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in IT project/program management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience leading large-scale projects across application development, enterprise systems, and infrastructure domains.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s Preferred).
- Certifications: PMP Certification required, PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) recommended
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- PMO Tools: Strong working knowledge of JIRA, MS Project, Monday.com preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Lead the enterprise IT PMO to ensure alignment with business goals, technology strategy, and enterprise architecture.
- Build and maintain scalable governance models for project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and reporting.
- Set the vision and execution roadmap for the PMO to support digital transformation, enterprise systems modernization, and infrastructure optimization.
Program & Project Delivery
- Oversee successful execution of a portfolio of complex IT initiatives (applications, infrastructure, security, cloud migration, ERP, etc.).
- Ensure all projects adhere to company-wide delivery standards, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Champion Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on business and technical context.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Manage and grow a high-performing team of program managers, project managers, business analysts, external support vendors and PMO staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with both internal and external (vendor/partner) resources.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on portfolio status, risks, resourcing, and investment needs.
- Provide executive-level communication and reporting to both IT and non-IT leadership, and other business stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between IT and business functions to ensure successful project alignment and delivery.
Portfolio Management & Governance
- Own the enterprise project portfolio and related systems/tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Monday.com).
- Define and enforce KPIs, project health metrics, and reporting standards.
- Drive financial and resource planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor contract oversight.
Other
- Help redesign / reconfigure JIRA system to better align to better support SDLC, ticket management and employment changes.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
