Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available in the North Port/Sarasota, FL area for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity offers multiple openings supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Valid SLP certification with either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion
- Experience working with a K-12 caseload in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and educational teams
Location: North Port/Sarasota, Florida
Assignment duration: Contract for the 2025-2026 school year (NSY)
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with diverse communication needs
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
