About the role:

As a Clinical Operations Pharmacist at KabaFusion, you will support the Clinical Intake pharmacy team by developing and implementing training tools, clinical protocols, and various performance improvement activities. This is a highly visible position that will work cross-departmentally across the entirety of the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Clinical Intake pharmacy team in the development of instructional materials, protocols and processes for clinical review data entry, appeal letter templates, letter of medical necessity documents, and insurance criteria
  • Assists Intake and Reauthorization departments by reviewing insurance medical policies and providing clinical assistance to sales, intake, reauthorization and referral sources.
  • Works collaboratively with Corporate Sales and Corporate Development to improve and implement business strategy.
  • Provides written documentation and reviews patient information for the intake and clinical teams to assist the patient referral process.

As a Clinical Operations Pharmacist, you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
  • Current and unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience leading an infusion pharmacy organization, preferably one based as part of a comprehensive medical center or integrated health system, required.
  • Experience with accreditation process; quality/performance improvement; medical management process; developing, implementing and executing policies and procedures.
