Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in Punta Gorda, FL, this contract position offers the opportunity to serve K-12 students within a vibrant school setting as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). The role primarily involves providing speech and language services to a diverse student population, supporting their communication development and educational success throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), if applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Florida teacher certification and/or state licensure in speech-language pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship status (SLP-CF).
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple school sites.

Additional Information:

  • Contract start date: January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026.
  • Full-time position averaging 37.5 hours per week, with part-time options potentially available.
  • Multiple positions available, primarily within various locations of the East Zone.
  • Caseloads vary depending on school assignment.
  • On-site role based in Punta Gorda, FL.
