Job DescriptionQLM is hiring IMMEDIATELY a Foreman Electrician with a proven minimum of 5 years of experience in management positions, including experience in commercial sites, for our long-term project in the West Palm Beach area.

A commercial electrical foreman is a skilled and experienced electrician who acts as a leader on a job site. They are responsible for supervising a crew of electricians and apprentices, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role combines hands-on work and management, requiring the foreman to lead the team while also being able to perform installations and troubleshoot complex electrical systems independently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and leading a crew: Directing the day-to-day work of electricians and apprentices, assigning tasks, and providing training and mentorship.
• Project management: Planning and scheduling work, tracking progress, and coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on site.
• Ensuring safety and quality: Enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety meetings, and making sure all work meets project specifications, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and other relevant regulations.
• Technical expertise: Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting electrical problems, and ensuring quality installations of various electrical systems.
• Resource management: Tracking and ordering materials, tools, and equipment to ensure the crew has what they need to stay productive.
