Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency following all dealership and factory standards
- Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools to assess systems
- Repair and maintain key systems: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, A/C, and more
- Work closely with Service Advisors to provide timely updates and repair estimates
- Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate with the parts department for required components
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure accountability for dealership tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to learn new technologies and repair procedures
- Strong physical dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and customer-first mindset
- Basic computer literacy
- Reliability and punctuality are a must
