Carpenter
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and finish carpentry, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to building codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to project requirements.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Perform finish carpentry tasks, including trim work, cabinetry, and installation of doors staris and windows.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project efficiency and timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a focus on framing and finish carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual labor.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
