A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school-based therapy is sought for a contract position serving a K-12 educational setting in Lake Placid, FL. This role is ideal for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and possessing specialized experience in school environments.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students across all grade levels (K-12). The SLP will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs. Documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state and federal regulations are essential aspects of this role.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
