Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Partner to join our prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law and estate planning, with a proven track record of serving high net worth clients. This role involves providing comprehensive legal advice on trusts, estates, and tax-related matters, while leading a team of attorneys in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on trusts, estates, and tax matters to high net worth clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of attorneys in the trusts and estates practice area.
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Develop and implement strategies for tax-efficient wealth transfer and estate planning.
- Manage complex estate and trust administration, including probate matters.
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Stay updated on changes in tax and estate laws to provide the best advice to clients.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active attorney license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
- Strong knowledge of tax law as it pertains to estate planning.
- Proven ability to work with high net worth individuals and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
