Sygnity Wellness is on a mission to bring premier mental health and substance abuse therapy to everyone, from the comfort of their own homes. We focus on providing care to adults and adolescents who are leaving in person treatment and need a lower level of care as they return to their day to day lives, as well as children who have not yet gotten help.
About the Job
We’re looking for a therapist who is excited about to figure out how to take the best practices of in-person therapy and translate this to virtual therapy. Sygnity is a startup, with a dedicated clinical, medical and operations staff who work closely together to build new processes. Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions for adolescents and adults that ignite positive change and support clients in their personal growth
• Facilitate inspiring and interactive group therapy sessions that empower and uplift clients
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate meaningful discussions and activities during group and individual sessions
• Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to coordinate care and support the overall treatment goals of clients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group sessions, including progress notes and treatment plans

Requirements

• Master’s Degree
• Licensed in the State of Florida – LMHC, LMFT or LCSW or License Eligible
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Flexible availability, weekends as needed
• Comfortable administering virtual therapy sessions
• Excited to work at a fast-paced startup. Comfortable with changing processes and procedures. Excited to learn new things
• Constantly looking for ways to improve as an individual and as a team. Willing to speak up about what they see that could be better
• Excited to work in a team environment. Gives and receive feedback well
• Open to learning new, cutting edge modalities
• Loves working with customers and willing to go the extra mile to take care of a client in need, whenever they might arise

Preferred Skills + Traits

• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
• Experience working in mental health and/or substance abuse
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Past experience administering virtual therapy sessions

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s Degree
• Licensed in the State of Florida – LMHC, LMFT or LCSW or License Eligible
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience with EMRs
• Flexible availability, weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent, with the ability to practice in the state of Florida.
• Experience treating Substance Use Disorder strongly preferred.
• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions, preferably with children and adolescents.
• Provide engaging homework assignments to clients to enhance the therapeutic experience.
• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to effectively de-escalate challenging situations.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for developing innovative interventions to engage participants in group therapy.
• Flexibility to work some evening and weekend hours to accommodate the needs of clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Must be able to clear a Level 2 background check.
