Job Summary:
As a Lead Installer for Carbon Concrete Coatings, you will oversee the installation of epoxy flooring systems, ensuring top-quality craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and exceptional customer service. You will lead a team of installers, manage projects from start to finish, and uphold our reputation for delivering flawless results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of installers during epoxy flooring projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
- Prepare surfaces for epoxy application, including cleaning, grinding, and repairing concrete substrates.
- Mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, and other coating materials according to manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Conduct on-site assessments and provide recommendations for optimal flooring solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Train and mentor junior installers, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including material usage and job timelines.
- Troubleshoot issues during installation and implement solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in epoxy flooring installation or similar field (concrete coatings, resin flooring, etc.).
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques (e.g., diamond grinding, shot blasting) and epoxy application processes.
- Familiarity with various coating systems, including epoxy, polyaspartic, and urethane.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with decorative flooring systems (e.g. epoxy, flake systems).
- Knowledge of concrete repair techniques (e.g., crack filling, leveling).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, given our diverse client base in Miami.
