Job DescriptionCivil Estimator
My client is seeking an Estimator I to join our team and provide corporate estimating support across multiple regions. This role is critical in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects and materials, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing detailed cost estimates and preliminary construction schedules.
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and estimate requirements.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and compile data for bid proposals.
- Prepare RFPs and quote requests for subcontractors and vendors.
- Attend project meetings and site visits as needed.
- Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and leadership to finalize bids.
- Manage assistant estimators and support team development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of construction estimating experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS HeavyBid and scheduling tools (P6, CAD, AGTEK) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, including occasional extended hours.
