About the Role
As a Commercial Plumbing-Piping Instructor, you’ll deliver hands-on, classroom, and lab training to apprentices and technicians in commercial and industrial plumbing and piping systems. You’ll help develop curriculum aligned with industry standards while modeling the professionalism and precision that define Comfort Systems USA.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching and mentoring students in commercial plumbing and piping installation, layout, and code compliance
- Ensuring a safe, productive, and engaging learning environment
- Assisting with NCCER curriculum delivery and assessment
- Collaborating with national training leaders to elevate technical instruction
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of commercial/industrial plumbing-piping experience (minimum)
- Journeyman or Master’s License strongly preferred
- NCCER Instructor Certification – Highly Preferred
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
- A passion for training, safety, and advancing the skilled trades
