About the Company
We are seeking an experienced Director of Case Management to lead and oversee hospital-wide case management operations for a well-established acute care hospital system in Tampa, Florida.
About the Role
This senior leadership role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong acute care case management expertise and proven people leadership skills. The Director will be responsible for driving operational performance, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Case Management department
- Oversee utilization management, discharge planning, care coordination, and compliance functions
- Manage staffing models, FTE allocation, onboarding, staff competencies, and productivity
- Monitor key performance metrics including length of stay (LOS), throughput, quality outcomes, and resource utilization
- Lead performance improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission (TJC), and organizational policies and procedures
- Collaborate closely with executive and clinical leaders including CFO, CMO, CNO, Legal, and Ethics & Compliance
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Active RN, LCSW, or LMSW license (required)
- Minimum 3+ years of acute care hospital case management experience
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership or management experience in hospital case management
- Strong communication skills, executive presence, and demonstrated team leadership ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or MBA)
- Experience in large hospital systems or complex acute care environments
Compensation & Benefits
💰 Salary Range (based on experience):
- 0–3 Years: $102,107 – $115,000
- 3+ Years: $115,000 – $127,587
- 5+ Years: $127,587 – $140,000
🎯 Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
