Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Supervisor at The Golden Hog, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily cleaning operations to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of sanitation standards. The Cleaning Supervisor ensures that the cleaning team delivers consistent, high-quality results across all store areas.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, schedule, and support the cleaning team in daily tasks.
  • Ensure all areas of the store, including kitchens, restrooms, dining, and storage areas, meet hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Inspect assigned areas regularly and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Train and motivate staff on cleaning techniques, safety, and use of cleaning supplies/equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning products and request replenishments when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, sanitation regulations, and health & safety guidelines.
  • Handle and store cleaning chemicals according to safety standards (MSDS).
  • Report maintenance or repair issues promptly to the General Maintenance Manager.
  • Assist in special cleaning projects and seasonal deep-cleaning tasks.
  • Provide courteous and professional support to staff and management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or cleaning supervision preferred.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards, cleaning products, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
  • Capable of lifting/moving equipment or supplies up to 40 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule:

Your standard work schedule will be five days per week, with two days off scheduled based on operational needs. Flexibility is required, as you may occasionally be asked to work on holidays or additional days to support special events. Schedules may include morning, afternoon, or night shifts to ensure cleaning coverage at all times.
