Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a Radiologic Technologist – Pediatric to provide support to our client’s healthcare system. This is a 13-week contract, day-shift role, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital-based pediatric imaging environment.

💰 Weekly Gross: $2,100 Weekly Gross


Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist – Pediatric performs diagnostic imaging procedures for pediatric patients in a hospital setting. This role includes general radiography, portable imaging, fluoroscopy, trauma, and operating room (OR) imaging while ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and adherence to hospital policies and radiation safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for pediatric inpatients and outpatients
  • Conduct portable imaging and assist with imaging in the Operating Room (OR)
  • Perform fluoroscopy and trauma imaging, including C-arm procedures
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and maintain high image quality
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation in hospital systems
  • Ensure proper care and safety for all pediatric patients


Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of a Radiography program from an AMA-accredited school
  • Active Florida State Radiography License
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registration
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of radiography experience; pediatric experience required
  • Experience with portable imaging, C-arms, fluoroscopy, and general radiography
  • Strong patient care and communication skills


Preferred

  • Experience working in a children’s hospital setting


Languages

  • English (Read, Write, Speak)
