Position: Restaurant Tenant Improvement (TI) Superintendent
Location: Miami & Sunrise, FL
Employment Type: Full-time
We’re looking for a motivated Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on our restaurant projects in Miami and Sunrise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of restaurant TI construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, millwork, flooring, etc.).
- Enforce jobsite safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA & local building codes.
- Conduct daily site walks, maintain progress logs, and report to Project Manager.
- Coordinate inspections and resolve issues with city inspectors, engineers, and owners.
- Ensure restaurant-specific elements (kitchen equipment, hood systems, gas lines, walk-ins, etc.) are installed per plans.
- Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals; flag conflicts before they impact schedule.
- Maintain strong communication with ownership and clients throughout the project.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent in restaurant TI or hospitality projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, kitchen installations, and restaurant code requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Solid leadership and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with South Florida subcontractor market is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Miami & Sunrise job sites.
