Fitness Machine Technicians of Orlando is hiring experienced senior-level Fitness Equipment Technicians to repair and maintain fitness equipment. We are a fast growing company based in Orlando with opportunities for earnings growth and career advancement! Our Field Technicians enjoy a mobile position, servicing commercial and residential customers throughout eastern Central Florida utilizing a company service vehicle. Technicians must be great at customer service to fulfill our high service standard and represent our company with professionalism and integrity.

Senior Technicians must possess at least 2-3 years of verifiable experience and the ability to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs, including but not limited to electrical troubleshooting and software updates.

Senior Technicians will have the opportunity to become certified Master Technicians under our proprietary certification program. You will have additional opportunities for manufacturer training and certifications to further enhance your career and increase your earnings. Successful technicians possess the background and ability to logically diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.

Job Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, troubleshoot/diagnose problems, and provide professional assembly & disassembly services with high attention to detail

• Successfully manage your daily job schedule utilizing our field service mobile app

• Complete reports in the app with detailed notes and photos for each job

• Maintain company supplied vehicle in good working order

• Maintain car stock of parts and supplies

• Occasionally required to manipulate or lift awkward or heavy equipment

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a fitness equipment technician (references will be verified)

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and exploded diagrams

• Strong Mechanical/Electrical aptitude

• Ability to plan, organize, and manage a variety of tasks

• Provide excellent customer service and work professionally with a team of other field technicians and office staff

• Positive attitude and professional appearance

• Process oriented with high attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and take pride & ownership in work quality

• Adaptability and willingness to take on new tasks

• Candidates must have a reliable smartphone and general mechanics tool set

• Must be 21 years or older

• Candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license, a clean driving record and successfully complete a background check, drug screening and motor vehicle record check. (Non-negotiable)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing manufacturer certifications (must be provided)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wages

  • Starting at $25-30 per hour, depending on experience and existing certifications (must be provided)

  • $2,000 retention bonus after 1 year of service
