  • Advise clients on sophisticated estate planning strategies, tax minimization, and wealth transfer techniques.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attorneys, and financial advisors, delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth.
  • Conduct and document tax research on trust and estate matters, staying current with evolving laws and industry best practices.

  • At least 7–8 years of recent experience in public accounting, with a strong focus (60–75% or more) on trust and estate tax work.
  • Expertise in preparing and reviewing trust, estate, and gift tax returns (Forms 1041, 706, 709, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of federal and state trust and estate tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to advise high-net-worth clients on tax planning and wealth transfer strategies.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities—able to explain complex concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with trust and estate tax software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CCH, GoSystem, or similar applications is a plus.
