Job Description

Location: Bonita Springs, FL

Reports to: General Manager

Type: Full-time, On-site

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and data-driven Continuous Improvement / Operations Analyst to support our CNC-based medical device manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career Industrial Engineer who is eager to apply lean, data analytics, and process improvement skills in a real-world production environment.

This individual will work closely with the General Manager to help track performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive measurable improvements across production, scheduling, and quality systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact position with strong visibility and growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze daily production metrics including OEE, throughput, scrap, rework, and labor efficiency
  • Maintain and enhance performance dashboards (Power BI, MachineMetrics, Excel)
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action workflows with data insights
  • Identify process waste and propose lean-based improvements (5S, SMED, value-stream mapping)
  • Assist with ERP (Business Central) job tracking, schedule accuracy, and WIP visibility
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and programming teams
  • Support reporting and follow-up for continuous improvement and kaizen events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or CI role (internships welcome)
  • Strong Excel skills required; Power BI, SQL, or VBA experience a plus
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving (DMAIC, A3, etc.)
  • Clear communicator with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Self-starter comfortable working on the floor, in Excel, and across teams

What Success Looks Like

  • Real-time KPIs are accurate, visible, and trusted by production and leadership
  • Cycle time, setup time, and labor utilization opportunities are identified and acted upon
  • ERP data is accurate and regularly used to drive performance conversations
  • Small CI wins compound into measurable monthly gains
  • CI maturity grows alongside production capability

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within a high-performance team and directly contribute to scaling a clean, compliant, data-forward med-device operation.
