Established (45+ Years) Personal Injury Law Firm Seeking Paralegal/Legal Assistant for High-Impact Litigation Support in West Palm Beach, Florida
An established (45+ years) Florida-based personal injury law firm, Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, PA, is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join its high-impact litigation team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role is essential in supporting attorneys through all phases of plaintiff personal injury and medical malpractice cases, from intake through trial and settlement. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will play a key role in case management, document preparation, client communication, and trial support.
Offer:
- Base salary: $70K - $80K annually (depending on experience and legal expertise)

- Full-time position based in West Palm Beach, Florida
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in plaintiff personal injury or medical malpractice
- Proficiency with legal software (e.g., TrialWorks, Needles, or similar case management systems)
- Strong understanding of Florida court procedures and filing requirements
- Ability to draft legal documents, manage discovery, and organize medical records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting attorneys through trial preparation and proceedings
Requirements:
- Assist attorneys with case development, document drafting, and client communication
- Manage case files, deadlines, and calendars with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel
- Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and deposition summaries
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all case-related matters
- Collaborate with legal teams to meet litigation goals and client expectations
