Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, patient monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure the highest level of patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures while monitoring their vital signs throughout the process.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Monitor patients' post-anesthesia recovery, ensuring their comfort and safety during the recovery phase.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless communication regarding patient status and care plans.
  • Provide education to patients regarding anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and geriatrics.
  • Proficiency in medication administration, including experience administering injections.
  • Strong skills in patient monitoring and vital signs assessment.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
