Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join a dynamic IT team supporting a diverse mix of technologies and acting as a key escalation point for the help desk. This is a customer-focused role where you’ll be expected to bring deep technical knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving complex problems. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across Windows environments, virtualization, cloud platforms, and network technologies, along with a natural ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
What You'll Be Doing: Configure and support WAN and LAN infrastructure Manage and maintain Microsoft server operating systems and applications Support and administer virtualization platforms [Hyper-V, VMware, etc.] Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments Support endpoint protection and network security tools Oversee backup and disaster recovery platforms Lead investigations and resolution of escalated issues or project tasks Prioritize and manage multiple technical support requests efficiently Recommend improvements to systems or applications to boost performance and reliability Monitor network and infrastructure health to ensure uptime and performance Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidesWhat We're Looking For: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field preferred, or equivalent detail oriented experience Minimum of 5 years in a system administration or similar technical role Strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms Expertise with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP Experience supporting Microsoft 365 tenants and services Familiarity with VoIP systems and troubleshooting Background supporting both server and desktop environments Industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to support maintenance windows and occasional travel as needed
