MSK Precision Products specializes in manufacturing superior high precision parts and assembly for the medical, aerospace and DOD industries. We are a fast-paced, quality-driven facility looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Passivation/Clean Operator to perform cleaning/tumbling and passivation processes on machined parts accurately and efficiently.

Position Summary:

The Passivation/Clean Operator is responsible for preparing CNC-machined parts by performing passivation, cleaning, and/or tumbling operations in accordance with customer and internal specifications. This role ensures that components are corrosion-resistant and meet quality standards before final inspection and shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operates and maintains parts passivation/cleaning machine.

2. Ability to perform cleaning/tumbling/passivation duties:

a) Clean parts per process requirements.

b) Tumble parts as instructed on process sheet or instructed by supervisor.

c) If parts were in egg cartons put back in after cleaning.

d) Spray parts with CLR or WD40 as instructed.

e) Change water in Ramco as needed.

f) Change mineral spirits as needed.

g) Perform all OTEC operations.

h) Monitor tray inventory and report needs.

3. Performs above operations on special projects assigned by Management.

4. Performs above tasks using sketches, or engineering drawings, and verbal or written instructions.

5. Performs 100% visual checks for dings, collet impressions, nicks, etc.

6. Ability to meet quality requirements using various inspection tools or instruments.

7. Accurately completes all required paperwork and data entry associated with production output.

8. Achieves production output requirements.

9. Follow all safety requirements; demonstrate working knowledge and safe operation of equipment and machines.

Non-essential Responsibilities:

1. Performs other duties as directed.

2. Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workplace.

Position Qualifications and Competency Statements:

· Minimum 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Ability to read and write English.

· Communication – Ability to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing.

Skills and Abilities:

· Team player working within the common goals of the company and the team.

· Perform any other task requested by management.

· Demonstrate adherence to all departmental and company procedures and policies.
