The Physical Security Specialist will support all business units within Mosaic Health and is responsible for security technologies. These technologies are to support protection and monitoring of all facilities ranging from clinical and data center. This individual should have knowledge of physical security and systems.


Responsibilities

• Performs activities within the physical security systems including access cards and badge printing and programming for facility access, transfers and terminations in accordance with policies.
• Acts as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for physical security solutions such as Access Control, CCTV, and Alarm Systems.
• They will be the main point of contact with the products. Examples are:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV Systems
• Develops and maintains technical documents, such as designs and procedures.
• Analyzes and troubleshoot physical security system issues.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry's best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Provides physical security training and awareness programs to associates at an assigned site or in a regional area.
• Investigates violations of security policies.
• Prepares written reports related to security investigations or incidents.
• Collaborates with vendor provided security staff to identify security risks and make recommendations to security management on cost-effective solutions.
• Acts as an initial point of contact and liaison to onsite business associates to address immediate issues and communicate those issues to security management.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

• Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent
• Experience in CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Fire & Safety, and control systems
• Knowledge of physical security designs
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, military or public/private sector security organization(s) is a plus
• A commitment to providing excellent service to internal team members and patients.
• High level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.


Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA Security+ a plus
• CPR certification strongly preferred


Physical Demands

• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed 50 lbs. without help.
