A busy boutique Family Law firm in South Miami is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis starting as soon as possible.

The firm is seeking an energetic and personable attorney with 1–3+ years of Family Law litigation experience that is passionate about helping clients navigate sensitive domestic matters and can work independently and with a group.Responsibilities

• Advise clients on domestic issues, legal rights, and obligations.
• Prepare case materials for mediation and litigation, including pleadings and discovery.
• Gather evidence by interviewing clients and witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements of domestic matters.
• Draft legal documents, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
• Represent clients in court and mediation.
• Research statutes, rulings, and case law to determine case strategy.
• Analyze legal issues and develop effective litigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Previous Family Law experience required
• Florida Board Certification in Family Law a plus
