POSITION GOAL: This position is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and regulatory compliances of the physical plants, for effecting improvements as necessary, for preserving KID/FCI assets and resources and for overseeing the various support services of KID/FCI through supervising the departments of Buildings and Grounds, Food Services, Purchasing and Inventory, Security, Reception and the support staff team. As a member of the executive team, works with KID/FCI leaders and the management team on strategic planning, CQI, management training, developing and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures and taking measures to ensure successful operations in all areas. This position reports to CFO.

  1. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  1. Education and/or experience:

Bachelor's degree and five (5) years experience in business management or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience required. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory programs.

  1. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

None required.

  1. Language Skills:

Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals or technical procedures written in English, the ability to type reports and business correspondence in English, and the ability to effectively communicate in English.

  1. Skills/Abilities: Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Problem solving, conflict resolution and diplomacy skills are essential as is the ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
  2. Physical Demands and Working Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this position. This position requires a moderate amount of sitting, walking and the frequent use of hands and arms. Talking and listening will be a major component. Occasionally, light lifting will be required. The ability to visually focus with the eyes for close range and be able to distinguish colors is required. The work environment is a typical climate controlled office environment and the noise is usually moderate, but occasional situations louder noise will be prevalent.
