Lion Country Safari is seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Guest Services & Amusement Park Attendants who bring a positive attitude, excellent guest service, and a team-focused mindset. This role combines responsibilities across guest services, amusement operations, and park support to ensure a fun, safe, and memorable experience for every guest. Applicants must be available to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.


Job Overview

The Seasonal Guest Services & Amusement Park Attendant will welcome guests, assist with admissions, operate rides and attractions, and help maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable park environment. This hands-on role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.


Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Services

· Greet guests with a positive and professional attitude.

· Sell tickets, annual passes, and redeem complimentary or third-party admission.

· Answer guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.

· Use point-of-sale systems and maintain accurate cash handling, including starting/closing counts.

· Provide accurate information on park attractions, animals, and special offers.


Amusement Operations

· Operate rides and interactive animal habitats safely and courteously.

· Learn, comprehend, and communicate ride and safety procedures to the public.

· Ensure guest safety by adhering to company and state regulations.

· Relieve other team members for breaks, as assigned.


Park & Guest Support

· Monitor guest areas to ensure safety and report concerns to supervisors.

· Provide basic first aid when trained and appropriate, or notify medical/supervisory staff in the event of an incident.

· Assist with housekeeping duties, including emptying trash receptacles, picking up litter, and maintaining clean and presentable guest areas.

· Perform daily cleaning duties in ride and guest areas.


General

· Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

· Be familiar with and follow all safety and emergency procedures.

· Collaborate with team members and management to support overall park operations.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management or leads.

Requirements:

· Must have valid Florida driver’s license.

· Ability to work flexible schedules, including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

· Reliable transportation.

· Able to bend, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.

· Lift up to 50–70 lbs.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including heat and rain.

· Basic computer knowledge; experience with sales software preferred.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
