POSITION SUMMARY:
Involve tasks related to project cost estimation preparing a complete and comprehensive Bid Package for review by the Senior Estimator prior to any Project date line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Properly develop RFI’s Communicate properly orally and written.
- Performing Quantity Take Offs
- Calculate material quantities, labor and equipment costs.
- Maintain Subcontractor bid list
- Communication with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain prices.
- Collecting and organizing data for use in bid proposals
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient MS Word, Excel, Computers
- Ability to use estimating software and spreadsheets
