Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented lead maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. The Lead Maintenance Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Compensation:
$23 Hourly
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans
- React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
- Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks
- Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments
- Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
Qualifications:
- Experience with facilities management software is preferred
- Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
