Job Details:

• Work 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM shifts with liver call responsibilities
\n• Handle other cases when no liver/transplant procedures are scheduled
\n• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts
\n• On-call required: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
\n• Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience reflected on skills checklist
\n• Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment
\n• Experience required in putting organs back in new patients, not just harvesting
\n• 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
\n• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
\n• Must participate in training students and new staff as this is a teaching facility
\n• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
\n• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
\n• 40 hours of orientation required
\n• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
\n• Charting system: EPIC
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Daily census: 55-60 patients in 18 operating rooms
\n• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
