We are looking for a detail-oriented Permitting Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Davie, Florida. This role involves supporting administrative and permitting processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in documentation and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with building permits and strong organizational skills. This role will start part-time (3-full days/week), then move into a full-time schedule once converted. Permitting experience required.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit permit applications and requests through online portals.
• Ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete for permit submissions.
• Coordinate with municipalities and other agencies to facilitate timely permit approvals.
• Perform data entry to maintain accurate records of permitting activities.
• Respond to inbound calls and provide assistance related to permitting inquiries.
• Manage administrative tasks, including filing and organizing permit-related documents.
• Monitor the progress of submitted permits and follow up as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve permitting issues.
• Support receptionist duties, such as greeting visitors and handling general inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with local regulations and building codes.
• At least 1 year of experience in administrative or permitting roles.
• Proficiency in using online portals for permit submissions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with building permits and municipal processes.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain records.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in answering inbound calls and providing customer support.
• Knowledge of administrative office procedures and receptionist duties.
