Contract Attorney – Family, Probate & Civil Litigation (Remote/North Florida)
Employment Type: Long-term W2 Temporary Contract
Location: Remote (Must be available for regular in-person court appearances in Duval County and surrounding areas)
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, approximately 30 hours per week
Compensation: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
Overview:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Florida-licensed attorney for a part-time contract role supporting a boutique law practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with strong experience in probate, family law, and civil litigation who is looking for flexible hours and remote work, while remaining engaged in meaningful legal advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a full caseload across probate, family law, and civil litigation matters

Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

Represent clients in hearings and court proceedings in Duval County and nearby jurisdictions

Provide compassionate and strategic counsel to clients navigating sensitive family and estate issues

Collaborate with internal legal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely case progression
Qualifications:

Actively barred and in good standing to practice law in the state of Florida

Minimum 2 years of experience managing probate and family court cases in Northern Florida as a licensed attorney

Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Reliable transportation for court appearances

Empathetic approach to family law and estate matters

Familiarity with Florida court procedures and local rules

Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services with integrity and professionalism
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
