About the Role:
The Packaging Assistant plays a crucial role in the Packaging department. This position involves working closely with the production team to prepare items for shipment, maintaining quality standards throughout the packaging process. The ultimate goal is to ensure that all products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit while also adhering to regulatory guidelines. The Packaging Assistant will also be responsible for labeling and organizing packaged products for easy identification and retrieval. By contributing to the overall efficiency of the packaging operation, this role directly impacts customer satisfaction and the company's reputation in the market.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of safety and quality control procedures.
- Must be proficient in Excel & Word and be able to locate specific information for packing materials on the internet.
- Attention to details.
- Must have clerical / administrative skills.
