Job DescriptionJob Title: Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Location: West Palm Beach, FL 33411 Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed Pay range: $23-25/hourJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to prepare and compound various non-sterile dosage forms, including creams, suspensions, troches, nasal sprays, and more. This is a hands-on position that requires proficiency in pharmaceutical compounding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare non-sterile dosage forms under the direct supervision of the pharmacist.
- Process prescriptions using various pharmacy software (experience with Liberty, Pioneer, or Life File is preferred).
- Learn and develop expertise in innovative, specialty compounds and nutraceutical products.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compounding and maintain compliance with USP 795 and USP 800 standards.
- Participate in training and educational activities to stay current with industry standards and techniques.
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations and assist with quality control of compounded medications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, preferably in an independent pharmacy compounding setting.
- Proven experience working with compounding equipment such as scales, hot plates, capsule machines, and other pharmaceutical compounding tools.
- Experience in preparing non-sterile dosage forms, including capsules, creams, nasal sprays, and suspensions.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and industry best practices.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
Experience:
- Compounding medications: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In-person at our West Palm Beach, FL location. Ability to Commute/Relocate: Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to the West Palm Beach area before starting work. Shift Availability:
- Day Shift (preferred).
- Weekends as needed.
