Project Manager - Restaurant
Position Overview
We are a general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our restaurant development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of project management, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of luxury restaurant development projects
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring effective resource allocation
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including owners, staff, and contractors
- Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best terms
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the restaurant industry
- Experience working for a general contractor
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience with Big Box Retail and travel projects is a plus
- Familiarity with bid preparation and construction negotiations is an advantage
